Liz hands Waspi petition to parliament

On Tuesday I had the pleasure of joining with dozens of other MPs from all parties in petitioning the government to think again about unfair changes to womens' pensions.

It was good to see MPs from all parties including the Conservatives submitting hundreds and thousands of signatures to parliament.

As many of you will be aware, I have been a long-standing and passionate supporter of the Waspi campaign and have spoken out on the issue many times.

I hope the thousands of signatures from people from across the nation will resonate with the government and force a rethink.
