Recovery Republic

recoveryrepublic.jpgJust before Christmas, Liz went to visit the trustees and workers at Recovery Republic.

Recovery Republic is a not for profit community interest company whose aims are to help the community be fitter, healthier and give support to each other so everyone can give something back to their own community.

Liz was delighted to get a tour of the Wellbeing Centre and see the numerous ways they helped everyone in the community.

There are an impressive range of weekly activities that people can go to Recovery Republic to take part in such as Zumba, cookery classes, career service advice,  complementary therapies, bereavement peer support, addiction support, benefits advice, music and knitting groups and much more.

Liz said:

“I would like to thank Dr Taylor, Carl Cruise and all the other staff who work at Recovery republic for showing me around Recovery Republic and highlighting what a vital part of the community it now is thanks to the dedication of all the staff and volunteers who work there.”
