Liz pledges support to the In-FACT campaign

I'm very pleased to support the In-FACT campaign, and it was a pleasure to meet Janet Williams and Emma Murphy in parliament recently.

In-FACT (Independent Fetal Anti Convulsant Trust) was formed in November 2012 by Janet and Emma. Both have children affected and diagnosed by the exposure to Sodium Valproate (Epilim).

In-FACT aims to give relief and assistance to all persons whose disabilities were caused by the fact that their mother took an Anti Convulsant drug during pregnancy to treat her condition, and offers financial support to help with the cost of care, welfare, treatment and education for those affected.

This is a very important campaign and I give Janet and Emma my full support.
