Your Member of Parliament

Labour's Liz McInnes is the MP for Heywood and Middleton. She was first elected in a by-election in October 2014 which was held following the sad and sudden death of our previous MP Jim Dobbin, and was re-elected in May 2015 with an increased majority.

In the 2017 general election Liz was once again re-elected, this time an even larger majority and 53% of the vote.
